Budget-Friendly Gift Ideas for Dad: A Father’s Day Special

From working hard to teaching us how to bike, our Dads are definitely our heroes. We may forget to show how much we love and appreciate them everyday but, we have a chance tomorrow, on Father’s Day. So, here, I’ve come up a list of things you can give to your dearest Papa, Dada,Daddy,  Tatay, and Itay to make them feel extra super duper special.

1. Hugs and Kisses

Do I really need to mention this? Yes. Yes, I do. On top of my list of what you can do for your Dad is to give them a tender and sweet hug and a kiss. If you don’t do this, you definitely should because Fathers are humans, too. They may not show sweet affection towards you but they are surely longing for a TLC from you 😉

2. Make a playlist.

If your Dad loves music, you definitely should make a playlist for him.. I’ll be giving my Dad a burned CD with songs he like so when he’s going home from work he can play that CD on and sing along.

3. Make a DIY Greeting Card

Hallmark cards are cute but if you give DIY cards to your special man, that would be much cuter! I’ve found a really helpful tutorial about how to make different kinds of greeting cards for Dad. You can click the link above and go nuts!

4. A perfume

Yes! A perfume. I included this on the list of things to give to Dad because I think it’s one of the best and one of the most practical things you can give. Also, if you know your Dad’s personality well, you’re sure to find the best perfume for him. And, when you’ve found that perfect perfume for Dad, head on over here to find out how you can wrap your present in a cute DIY style.

5. Go on a Treasure Hunt

This one’s really gonna be fun. Let your Dad go on a treasure hunt around your house and provide the first clue the morning he wakes up. Partner that clue with breakfast and a cup of coffee, and let the games begin. Click the link above, to have ideas what clues you can provide for Dad.

6. Food

They say a key to a man’s heart is through his stomach. So, let’s get that key to Daddy’s heart and cook homemade dishes just for him! There are thousands and thousands of cooking tutorials out there that you can watch and follow. Just make sure you ask assistance from your mom or other Cooking Lords in your home to make that dish for Dad extra special.

7. Love Coupons

I actually made one for Mom for mother’s day and she super loved it! Now, it’s time to make one for Dad. Click on the link above for love coupon printables. Make sure that you will be able to do what the coupons say when Dad claims them from you, okay? Yes? Okay.

8. Other Printables

OMG look at these cute printables I found in pinterest for Dad! I’m gonna print these babies up. BRB.

9. A letter

As corny as this may be, I find writing letters and receiving letters really sweet. Go shop or make a stationery paper to write on and give a heartfelt thank you to Dad. He’ll surely appreciate this one. 🙂

10. The usuals

By usuals I mean things that we usually give to Dad like socks, hankies, tie, keychains, mugs, and the like. Of course,  giving the usuals to Dad will still make him special plus partner it with sweet hugs and kisses.

So, there you go, these are the ten things you can give to your Dads on their special day. I hope you found this really helpful, and if you did, don’t forget to like and share this post to your friends so their friends can share it to their friends and ultimately, all fathers in the world will feel loved and special. Also, I would definitely love to know your thoughts and I would love to know how your day with Dad turned out so comment down below.
